WLC Teachers, Students honored by VFW

Holly Gladsden and Michel Dupont were recognized recently by the Merrimack VFW for their dedication to teaching citizenship.  Seventh grader Mackenzie Hayden was awarded first place in the Patriots Pen Essay while eleventh grader Sara Holka earned first place in the high school Voice of Democracy audio essay contest.  Congratulations to our WLC Warriors!





 

 
NH Police Cadet Training Academy
June 20 - June 26 2015
New Hampshire Technical Institute, Concord, NH 

The New Hampshire Police Cadet Training Academy is currently accepting applications for young men and women ages 14-20.  This week-long residential Academy is an opportunity to experience life as a police recruit. Cadets will attend classes at NHTI and the NH Police Standards Training Academy.  The cost is $150 per cadet.

COMMUNITY SERVICE GRADUATION REQUIREMENT

​At least 24 hours of community service is required prior to graduation. Students that do not have the required 24 hours are not allowed to take part in graduation rehearsals or the graduation ceremony.  

Please hand in all community service hours to Mrs. Coffey as soon as possible.

Enterovirus in Area

The City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services recently sent information to our district about Enterovirus D-68 (EV-D68), a respiratory illness that can cause mild to severe cold and respiratory symptoms.  As of September 10, 2014, a total of 84 people across six states have been confirmed cases of EV-D68. The towns of Wilton and Lyndeborough are in the area that needs to be aware of this community health concern.  Please click on this link to learn more information.
